Souvenir (2019) – Storyline
Julie is a young, ambitious film student in 1980s London who falls for Anthony, a charming and mysterious older man. Their romance feels inspiring at first; he supports her creativity, exposes her to art, and seems to understand her in ways others don’t. But as time passes, Anthony’s erratic behavior, demands, and hidden struggles, especially his addiction, begin to strain the relationship. Throughout, Julie tries to balance her love, her art, and her identity, realizing that some loves change you in ways you can’t ignore.
